Service to Honor LGBT Veterans

Join the DC LGBT Center, Center Military, and our partners as we gather on Veterans Day at the grave of Sergeant Leonard Matlovich.  Held in honor of the LGBT men and women who have served the U.S. as soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen, and coast guardsmen. This years' service will be held on November 11^th, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Congressional Cemetery, 1801 E St., SE Washington, D.C. 20003. A Celebration of the Faith Communities that Open their Doors to LGBT People in DC

Know Your Rights Workshop

Thursday December 11th at the DC Center: This hour-long presentation covers criminal, civil, and Title IX/university rights of victim of crimes such as sexual assault, stalking, domestic violence, physical assault, and more. Our aim is to share rights with survivors of these crimes, while also equipping the general public with the facts in case they or a loved one ever finds themselves experiencing a violent crime. #survivor #hatecrimes #iPV #communityorganizing #change
